Springfield named MACJC Pitcher of the Week
The Delta State transfer went 2-0 on the week in an 8-0 win over Bevill State (Ala.) Community College in 5 innings and a 10-1 win over Jackson State (Tenn.) Community College in 5 innings. Springfield stuck out 12 batters, scattered 8 hits and walked 2 while only allowed 1 run over 9 innings of work in 2 games.
FULTON, Miss. – Sophomore pitcher Bailie Springfield (Mantee) has been named Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) Pitcher of the Week.

Springfield will eligible for National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) National Pitcher of the Week.
After Wednesday's doubleheader with Snead State (Ala.) Community College was postponed, The Indians' next games are scheduled for Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Jackson State.
