FULTON, MS – Coach Andy Kirk may need to invest in a new calendar after announcing Mother Nature has forced more changes to the Lady Indians' softball schedule on Monday.
The Lady Indians' (8-5, 1-1 MACJC North) North Division doubleheader at Northwest Mississippi Community College (5-3, 2-0 MACJC North) scheduled for Tuesday has been postponed due to unfavorable playing conditions in Senatobia.
ICC opened division play by splitting with rival Northeast Mississippi Community College (2-3-1, 1-1 MACJC North) in a doubleheader originally scheduled to be played in Fulton on Friday that was eventually moved to Booneville on Saturday due to winter weather altering playing conditions.
No make-up date has been determined for the twin bill against the Lady Rangers due to the looming winter weather scheduled to move into the area later this week.
The Lady Indians have had nine games cancelled or postponed due to weather concerns this season and things are not looking good for Thursday's non-division doubleheader against Calhoun Community College (5-8-2) and Friday's division series against Mississippi Delta Community College (0-4, 0-0 MACJC North).
