FULTON, MS – Itawamba Community College will set up two drop spots in Pontotoc and Fulton to help collection donations for the tornados victims in Itawamba and Lee counties during Saturday's Tanglefoot Trail Ride and MACJC Softball Tournament.
The ICC Foundation Riding the Tanglefoot Trail is a cycling event to raise money for scholarship funds for ICC students on Saturday, May 3 with registration beginning at 7:30 a.m. and the ride starting at 8:00 a.m. in Pontotoc.

Donations of non-perishable items only will be taken at the Pontotoc Gateway of Tanglefoot Trail located at the intersection of West Reynolds and South College Street. Monetary donations will not be accepted at this site.
ICC will also take donations throughout the MACJC Softball Tournament, May 2-4, at the ICC Softball Complex on the Fulton Campus.
Donations of non-perishable items can be dropped off at the concession stand throughout the three-day tournament. Monetary donations will also be accepted at this site.

Suggested non-perishable items include, but are not limited to: clothing, water, sports drinks, flashlights, batteries, toiletries of all kinds, baby wipes, snacks, totes, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items and garbage bags.
All donations will be taken to United Way, Red Cross and the CREATE Foundation.
If you would like to volunteer to help with recovery efforts, Tupelo officials urge individuals not to self-deploy into storm-damaged neighborhoods and request all volunteers register through United Way of Northeast Mississippi at the BancorpSouth Arena, by calling 662-841-9133 or visiting unitedwaynems.org. Volunteers must be registered for FEMA documentation and liability purposes.
