ELLISVILLE, Miss. – The men's soccer team dropped a 2-1 non-division match in double overtime at Jones County Junior College on Wednesday.
ICC (3-3-1, 2-0-1 MACJC North) took an early 1-0 lead when Chase Huddleston (Tupelo) scored off an assist from Alexis Resendiz (Horn Lake). The Bobcats (3-5-1, 1-3-0 MACJC South) answered with the equalizer to send the match to a 1-1 tie at halftime.
The two teams battled through a scoreless second half and first overtime period before Jones connected on the golden goal in the 102nd minute to pick up the victory.
