Dent named MACCC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week

FULTON, Miss. – Sophomore AJ Dent (Thomasville, Ga.) has earned Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
Dent made a significant impact to help the Indians go 2-0 last week, shooting 69 percent from the field to average 23 points and 14 rebounds. He scored a career-high 31 points in ICC's 89-70 win at Calhoun while also picking up a career-best 20 rebounds. In the Indians' 88-58 road win over ASU Mid-South, he scored 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds. [HIGHLIGHTS]
Dent currently leads the Indians with an average of 15 points per game.
The Indians will be back in action on Tuesday, Dec. 3, when they host Wallace State at 7:30 p.m. in the Davis Event Center.
